The download completes without any issues and installation begins as well. Again logging in as administrator, I download the installer after disabling my firewall. Further I ensured that there were no remnants in Common Files folder. I tried to ensure that all the 3DS products were removed by manually checking to ensure that the AutoDesk folder under my AppData in user profile and the 3DS Studio in Documents folder is deleted. I tried uninstalling this partial install and tried to reinstall but this did not help either. I have tried several times but always get this error. I can launch the installer but when the installation is almost complete say nearly 98 percent, this error comes up and cannot proceed with the operation further. I have been unsuccessfully trying to install 3DS Max 2010 for three days now.
